Flowers Of Evil Prologue

Flowers of Evil

The tip of the silver blade rolled against his arm, carving a mark of the incognito who gripped the knife. A slight chortle came from their closed lips, amused at how easy it is for flesh to open on a Normal. Incognito, was masked in a fine black cloak and wore a beautiful masquerade mask that smiled at the corpse. The edge of the long knife slipped off the skin, turning there head to the illuminating full moon that peered over their small body.

"With the blood of a Moneyed, I give to thee." They held the knife up, allowing the thick red liquid to descend from the tip,

"I am the moon and the moon is me. You give me power and I give you thee. The sacrifice will be complete on the second full moon. Just you wait! And then the real fun will begin." They turned away from the lunar moon and to the dead body that was slumped over on its back against the rail of The Sacred Fountain.

They lifted their foot and kicked the body into the fountain. Blood drained from the corpse, dying the water with its red color. Laughter came from Incognito as they trotted away, vanishing within the darkness of the sleeping town.

Happy New Year!

I know I havent posted anything in a while but happy new year, even though its belated. I've been swamped with both parties and work since the new year started but hey I've got fantastic news! Thy Broken Mind; The White Book, is nearly finished. I just had FastPencil print it out for me to see how it looks because I am blind to the errors I see on the computer so I needed to make sure it was perfect for the agents I will be sending too! I'll even post pictures of my cover and back cover I made.

Anyway, of course with the new year comes new goals! It seems that after a year of complete and utter angsty darkness with heavy topics such as rape, torture, mental illness- my mind has wandered off to the innocent side of life(thank you god) and decided I will be working on a children's novel.

Something a child around the first or second grade would be willing to read, maybe even a third grader. I wanted this novel to be that very first novel to get kids hooked on reading. You remember that time when you picked up your very first book and devoured it because it was so damn good. Then you read another and another and finally you have about 150 book collection by the time you're 13.

I wanted this small childrens novel to be that good. Good part is that it doesn't take me very long to write it, maybe three months if I'm consistent. Bad part- Im a little too frightened it might be extreme and a tad dark. SOOOO Im having a friend read over my draft of the first chapter to see how it goes. If it goes well, then great! Bring on 30 more chapters if it doesnt, I'll have to sit back down and rethink this more carefully.

Other than childrens novel, there is also the other parts of Thy Broken Mind I will be writing and finishing up within the next year(easily. Maybe even two). And that shit goes like this

Thy Broken Soul(Prequal)

Thy Broken Mind(main)

Thy Broken Heart(Sequal)

Thy Broken Doll(Side)

So now I've got a bunch of work to go do and look out for the next chapter of Above The Water, Pumpkin Pau's and I interactive story :)

My Blue Roses/ Song Bird Ch. 1

It's Everyday, huh?

I could feel the sun creep into the room. It warmth caused me to roll over on the other side of my body which ached. I havent slept on that side since the night began. I could hear the chimes of the chains rustle underneath the blankets. I stretch my arms over the multiple pillows. My fingertips brushed up against the headboard of the queen size bed. My legs sprawled out, rattling the chains that was locked around my left ankle.

"I've gotta get up..." I moan, kicking the covers off me as if I was a child.

I scratch my eyelids, feeling the sand in the corners. Finally my eyes opened and I gawked around the room, excepting the usual. When I found it, I nearly killed myself trying to dash over to it. There, on top of my marble desk, was a bouquet of fresh red roses. Something he brings me when he visits. I lift up the bouquet in my hands and pressed them against my face. Inhaling the sweet smell I could get drunk off of.

I mutter, "They're so pretty." I set them back down and ran the tip of my finger around the rim of the petals.

I sigh, "He must be waiting for me! I shouldn't dwindle in my room like this!"

My barefeet hit up against the tile flooring as I walked over and entered my closet. I changed out of my pajama dress- the one he loves seeing me wear- and into a beautiful summer dress. I trot over to the double doors and pull them open. Gently I ambled down the glass hallway. The one I absolutely loved in this mansion. On the right, there were always beautiful rococo paintings that date back in the late hundreds that hung on the walls. Whenever I walk by, I always say hello to each and every painting. I looked down at the glass floor that reflected my image. On the left, where these huge windows. I pondered who would make windows that big? Even though there were curtains draping beside them, they continued to shut in the darkness. And so I would open them, letting the sun and the moon light glimmer in. The night time, is my favorite time. That's when this mansion automatically shuts down because he rigged it too. And the only thing that shines in is the moonlight.

Eventually, I come to the two double curved staircases and softly I stepped down on the first step.

"Rylan!" I called out happily.

I awaited for him to reply but there was only silence in return. I was about to call out his name again. "Ry-" Were the only words I muttered out of my mouth before a harsh slam cut my words off. The noise caused me to jump back in fright but also had me step forward in curiosity.

A man screamed out a horrible, "No!"

The double doors to his office broke open, almost tearing off the henges. A large round man dashed out of the office and my heart stopped. Behind him, was Rylan whose body was transforming into a monster right before my eyes. He caught the man by the collar of his shirt and slammed him against the marble floor.

"No no please!!" The man cried. Rylan pointed the gun- the one that I'm too familiar with- to this mans head and pulled the trigger. The sound echoed throughout the mansion and pierced through my head. I gave out a small cry and his angry eyes glared at me. "Sweetheart." He spoke in that sweet tone. Holding his arms out towards me and dropping the gun onto the floor.

"No..." I shook my head. Slowly slipping back up the stairs.

"Come here!" He shrieked. I could feel myself, obeying to him, like the bitch I am. Softly I descended down the stairs, my arms locking to my side and my fear filled eyes staring at him. Once I stepped off the last step, he marched over to me and snatched a fist full of my hair.

"Ow ow ow!" I muttered underneath my voice.

"What the fuck were you doing backing away from me?!" His voice hissed at me as he slammed down on the cold hard floor. "I-I-I" I stuttered, trying to find an excuse. But his anger didn't wait for me to speak and neither did his fist.

His rage beat me until I couldn't move for a week. Everyday after that, he brought me those beautiful blue roses that meant 'I'm sorry'. He knew I loved them. I loved them more than the red roses. He cared for me that week, until I was healed. I suppose- it was a light beating. Normally I wouldn't be able to move for a month.

One night, he cuddled up to me and whispered sweetly in my ear, "I love you...Songbird." I could feel a small tear fall down my cheek as I replied, "I love you too, Rylan."

This...This is what happens everyday, huh?

My Blue Roses/Song Bird

Recently I was looking for a small skit I had wrote for shits and giggles and found one of my most darkest stories that was more about spousal abuse, kidnap, etc. I had wrote it for the phone app Penned when I did a guest post for them a year ago(almost two) and many people enjoyed the story for some reason...? Anyway here is My Blue Roses aka SongBird. A collection of short stories about a woman named Song Bird.

Disappearance, Children's Book and More!

Hiya folks! :) Its been a while eh? I've been extremely busy lately so I apologize for my sudden disappearance but I have some really cool things I've been working on. First off, my childrens book was finally published on Amazon! Yaaaay!!! You can check it out here

Im pretty happy about it and thank you to Nadia for drawing such beautiful art :) [insert a round of applause] And thank you to Light Books for making it happen! Woo hoo~

Secondly, Thy Broken Mind is nearly complete and ready to be sent to agents! This time Im serious, just weeks away from me finishing it. Its been such a journey with this got damn book. I hope the query letters I've been working on can reel in an agent!

Thirdly, I am participating in the Ataxia Fundraiser with a bunch of really cool authors that Melissa Ann brought together to create This Beautiful Escape Volume 1 and Volume 2. All proceedings will go to the Ataxia Canada so when the books do release please buy them!

Also I have been working on an interactive book blog with my friend and beautiful daughter Pumpkin Pau. It is called Above The Water and you are a mermaid. Its taking a bit of time but I hope that it will look astonishing!

Last...[sighs] Is NaNoWriMo. This is my fourth year and I wasnt prepared for it. This is worse than last year seeing as how October snuck up on me. I thought I wouldnt do it this year so to get myself out of that harsh rut, I told myself that the book I write this time should be published around January/Febuary of next year. Knowing me, I couldnt back down at the thought of something magical being published by me so I decided to do my all time favorite short story that I created when I was in middle school. God Hates The Life of Thee.

Anyway I should be handing out the links to Above The Water, God Hates The Life of Thee, and other cool things.

See you on the bright side of the dark side~

Projects, New Stories, and Idiotcy!

I've been working on a few projects lately. Ok "a few" is seriously an understatement. More like accidentally started up several things! They're all fun though so it isnt that bad. So what are these projects Im working on?

Currently, I am writing two original tv pilot scripts. Both in the comedy genre but one more fantasy than not. I seriously hope I can finish them around next week and get everything laid out before submitting them. (cross your fingers that they get accepted or at least one of them because Im putting both my Panda paws in!)

Remember that Untitled Story that crossed over Victorian and Technology? Yep! Still working on that! It takes a while to attempt to make it authentic but not authentic Victorian era. I have the first half of chapter two written but not sure about it.

Sometimes Things Happen is still a thing! I just forgot that I didnt write chapter 8 properly.

The Most Titless is also still a thing. Chapter two took a while, but it should be out tomorrow? There's a character I wanted to make an appearance that actually gets everything moving smoothly like the way I wanted. Btw this story is to Monty Oum, who passed away in February.  I wanted to create characters that were both powerful and amazing just like he did.

And if that isnt enough on my plate I decided to pick up a heavily controversial story I wrote in 2011-2012. This story isnt for everyone because the themes inside it are pretty gruesome as far as heavy child slavery goes. It was also my so-called 'reply' to the man who gave me this idea. He wrote an essay about killing babies and eating their skin and I was like "Well what IF that did actually happened but humanity stop there with it. What IF they enslaved children to the point where the world became an adult world?" So if I do decide to post this story, I will put a huge fucking warning sign because its pretty detailed and I'd hate people to yell at me for it.

So thats about it for my schedule! :)

Draft of an Untitled Story

"Princess." A voice awakened me. I opened my eyes to see an older woman, dressed in a Victorian maid uniform, standing at my bedside. Her off pink lips smiled, "Its time to wake up. You have a full schedule today." She holds the tablet up and her eyes examined it. She nodded her head once she was done taking in the information on the screen.

Guest Post "Penned App"

Everyone's heard of cell phone novels right? It started back in Japan in the early 2003's, where people would write these extravagant novels and soon it started to spread worldwide, becoming one of the post trendiest things you could do! If you watch Anime, or even read Manga "Mirai Nikki" is one of the most popular anime for about three years, starring a boy who writes a novel telling the future of his entire life. Crazy right? Well here comes something similar to it but it doesn't have the whole fantasy concept to it.

It called Penned and it's the most amazing writing app you'll ever see! To the left is the icon of the app when you download it on your iPhone or with me, I downloaded it on my iPad which works just as good as it on the iPhone. Now I'm very particularly with writing a novel on a phone. During the years 08-09, I had written a romance novel about a very popular singer falling in love with a man who use to be a male prostitute. Each and every title was the name of a song I based the chapter on. It was quite fun, every day writing about over 3,000 words just sitting there for hours knowing that people flock over to such an unusual story.

On this site people use to "like" it by the amount of views you would receive. But, something tragic happened. My phone crashed and I had lost all 100,000 words of this peculiar novel and the app had disappeared after I restarted my phone. I forgot the name of it, I couldn't get it back for nothing. I was depressed and sad that I had lost such a good thing. After that I had promised myself that I would never, ever, in my entire life would go back to writing a cellphone novel. Until Penned came to me and asked me to be on their site. I was enthralled but also frightened because I had never done such a thing before. A new author being asked to me on a site, dear god, my heart was pounding. I said yes in the end, knowing that Penned is way much better than that old site I used back in the day. Now here's my overview of Pennedapp, and what I liked about it.

On top is the first page you come to when you download this app. This app brings reader, writer, and social media all under one single app. With this app you can share your stories on Twitter, Facebook, and link your blog or website to your readers so they can read more of your work. I linked mine with my own Twitter account. On the left is a snapshot of my account that does have my Twitter name, and description as well as my blog. There you can see the stories, how many followers, how many you're following and your favorites. Remember this is on the iPad, not the iPhone so things might be a little different from yours and mine.

I currently haven't had the time to anything with mine but I will soon! Though the most thing that I was really surprised at with this app is the amount of genres they have! Really like I was at awe how many they have. A lot of my friends write a certain genre and that is; Fan Fiction as well as myself. This means that even my own friends that I've known for years can download this and write as much as they want on there. Its always nice to have friends on a site that you're new too. It gives you that sense of comfort and not the sense that you're jumping out of a plane without a parachute.
I can even check out their activity on the right hand side, my own activity and what I've recently read! There's also this 2,000 word limit when writing a story on Penned but 2,000 words is enough per chapter. You can add your title, description, the multiple genres that they have. Down below are the icons that I should explain what they are. From Left to Right, the first button is the back button. Heads you straight back to where ever you came from. The next button are your own list of tags that you can create. After that is the writing button! Their writing format is easy to use. Then the stats I was telling you about and finally the about you page.

Finally all the genres I couldn't wait to show you. I took snapshots of the genres that I thought were amazing. By the way, there's two main genres and then there's the multiple sub genres. Fiction is still fiction and Truth is the nonfiction.

Paranormal is my name <3 .="" br=""> But hey I may write something embarrassing or even just speak about it in the Friday videos.
There was actually a section of a picture I completely forgot about and that was the YouTube video section.

Psychology man! Nothing like mentally screwing up your readers.
But do you see it? The Loki Fanfic genre. Gotta give some love towards that.

They have S&M. Now I don't know about you, but my male best friend loves writing this genre and he's going to be completely all over this when I tell him about it. For me personally the supernatural genre is my love.

Ah, the Dreams. Something I have never seen in other writing communities.
I wanted to write about the constant dream I use to have as a child, and the recent one that almost made me cry. Never knew where I would be able to place it until now. Though the odd short story I have planned in the next month, will be in the Tragic Romance genre. I didn't know Romance could be so tragic in the first place.

Horror, one of the most uncanny genres I write in.
You'll see a lot of my writing in that for the next many years which I hope that Penned last that long.

Fantasy and Romance!  "When It Rains" will be in this genre when I finish the draft.
But once again, Penned as amazed me with the Song Lyrics genre. Ever seen that before?

This completely concludes the overview of Penned! Check it out, and guess what? Its Free to download! This site really is for new authors looking for a crowd of people and social media. Thank you for reading and I'll see you on Penned! -KB

STH Chapter 7

A smile appeared on his cold face as he stared out into the city. He slightly nodded his head, watching the people walk on the sidewalks. The cars that moved about on the streets. The birds that flew in the air. He watched this all.

STH Chapter 6

"Hey you, wake up already!" A young boy tapped on her body. She opened her eyes to see her friend standing beside her. His eyes watched as she sat up from being slumped over on the desk to sitting up in the chair.

STH Chapter Five

Her body leaned over to take a sip of her orange colored drink. She could hear the whispers around her; both lustful and hateful. She could feel the stares of men who examined her from head to toe. She knew as she sat there, that every part of her was being watched like a hawk. Though, she ignored the stares, the chatters, the hatred and let her eyes wander around. She adjusted her legs, setting her left one on top of the right one. Purposely letting her short cut dress raise up a bit more. She smirked when she heard the scorns of the other ladies.
