STH Chapter One

She snatched her cellphone out from the back pocket of her dark blue jeans. Her free hand pushed open the door to her bedroom. She stopped for a minute, to tap on the screen a few times before pressing buttons on her phone. The phone begins to ring and she crashed her slender body on the bed, waiting for someone on the other end to pick up. When the ringing stopped, a man picked up the line and answered it with a melancholy, "Yes?"

"Hey there! Guess what~?" She sang, amusingly kicking her legs in the air.

"Hmm..." He only hummed.

"There's been a murder recently!" she exclaimed.

"Is that so?" His voice perked interest.

"Yes! That's right!!" She rolled around on the bed, "Everyone was so...frightened! I heard that the body was completely slaughtered! Can you believe it?!"

"I can. When murder hits a close community such as that one, people tend to become scared," he replied, "But will you be alright?"

"Of course I will!" she smiled, "It was just a murder! Nothing more or nothing less." She shrugged her shoulders. Suddenly the doorbell rang, startling her.

"Is someone at the door?" He asked.

"Yep looks like it! Though I wonder who could it be at this hour!" She flung her body out of her bed and ambled out of her bedroom.

"Oh god if it's you- I'm going to punch you!" She threatened. "Trust me, it isn't." He said. Gingerly, she walked down the flight of stairs and headed to the front door that laid only feet away from the staircase. She peeked out of the peephole only to see that no one was there but the light that illuminated from her porch. "I'm gonna have to call you back." She rolled her eyes. She hung up on him and shoved her cell back in her pocket. Her long fingers swirled around the brown doorknob and her arm pulled it open.

"Alright who's there!?" she demanded angrily, "If this is someone playing a prank, I'm going to call the police!" She screamed into the night. When silence replied, she sighed heavily. Closing the door and was about to grab her cell once more, but suddenly a foot was shoved in the door. "What!?" She panicked, feeling her heart race as the door was shoved open. She fell to the floor and crawled away as a figured, dressed head to toe in a black barged its way in. In its right hand was a large axe.

"Oh god no wait!" She held her hands up in front of her. The figure slammed and locked the door. "Please don't kill me!" She begged, but the figure didn't obey. It swung the axe, hitting her arm with such brute power, it was nearly chopped off. She cried in pain, bringing her arm back in with her body and continued to plea as the figure commenced to slaughtering her.

The figure took its time, chopping her up into unrecognizable slabs of pure flesh and muscle. When they assumed they were done, they nodded their head in satisfaction. They snatched off the black mesh fabric from their face. Revealing a man with sweaty brown hair and orange eyes. He pulled away at the black costume he wore until he found his cell phone. He snatched off his gloves and pressed the screen- only this time, it rang automatically.

"Hey." He placed the phone to his ear, "I got her. She's dead man! Like minced!" He chuckled a bit. Waiting for the person on the other line to talk. "Yeah, she's right here in front of me. You said that she was going to be a challenge, but she wasn't." He shook his head, turning his body around to face the door. "Pfft, and you want me to kill all seven of them! Easy as cake."

"You cocky ass bastard." Her voice spoke to him. He flipped his body around only to be horrified at what he was seeing. Her body was piecing itself together. Reforming all of her bones, muscles and skin in less than a minute. "Oh my god..." he stuttered, dropping the cell phone and the axe onto the floor. "So you think it's cute to kill something like me?" she asked, cracking her neck. "Answer me, human!" she demanded. He stuttered out a few incoherent words, but she rolled her eyes, instantly losing patience.

She took a step and there she was, right in front of his face. "You know, you have orange eyes. They're pretty but not as good as mine!" She shoved her finger into his eye. He screamed in pain, trying to remove her finger that she began to twist deep inside his socket. Unexpectedly, he began foaming from the mouth and his body started to shake vigorously. "How does cyanide sound to you? Good?" She smiled. She slid her finger out of the socket and his body fell to the floor with a thump.

"I better tell him about this." She turned around and searched for her cell. But when she found it shattered into pieces by the constant swings of the axe, she frowned. "This is unfair. I liked this one too!" She sighed, tossing the phone back on the floor. She walked into the large kitchen and grabbed the house phone off the counter. She began dialing numbers and held the phone to her ear. "What happened?!" he demanded. "Where are you right now?" she asked, sitting herself down on top of the counter. "Pulling up in your driveway right now." "Good. There's a surprise waiting for you at the front door." "Oh god." He sighed, "If its cake-" "No it's better than cake!" "This better be good." He hung up. She set the house phone back down and heard the front door open.

"JESUS CHRIST." he yelled, slamming the front door shut. "Ahahah!!" She broke down laughing. "Aberisa!! Aberisa where are you!?" He shouted. "I'm in here darling!" she cackled. She could hear the angry, but worried footsteps crawl towards the kitchen. A man with medium red hair stormed into the kitchen.

"What happened?" He demanded.

"I was attacked." She admitted.

"Are you alright?!" He walked over to her.

"Yes. Though he chopped me up into pieces but it's not like I mind. I've had worse things done to me before." She chuckled. "But-" Her smile went away, "He spoke on the phone about something odd. Something about killing all seven of us. Though it's useless if you attack me first since I am the strongest. You're just asking for death coming for me."

"Killing all seven of you huh...?" He muttered.

He turned around and walked back to the body that laid dead near the front door. She followed him, watching him examine the body and pick up the cell he was using. "This phone- it looks like a normal one but it is not. It's a T.A phone, the one you can text people with and it'll never save or you can make one phone call," he told her, "But why?" He looked back at her, "Is there something you're not telling me?"

"Of course there is. A lady such as myself can't tell you all of my secrets right?" She smiled.

"I knew that, but I didn't think people would be trying to kill you!" He sighed, shaking
his head.

"Aw are you worried~?" she sang. "Somewhat. But from what I gathered, there are others like you, arent there?"

"Yes," she sighed deeply and closed her eyes. "Yes there are." she nodded her head.
