The Most Titless Chapter One

This is the most titless pieces of shit I have ever written. Enjoy it, or hate it either way embrace the weirdness of it.

One

Mama always told me, to never stray away from the path that I was given. Especially, when traveling through the great forest. But one sunny afternoon, I felt as if, something was staring at me from afar, with large wicked eyes. These eyes pierced my back and made each of my movements difficult. For the first time, I had stopped walking. Usually I rushed along, my thoughts up in the clouds and my prayers with God that I made it safe to town without being eaten by Spirits.

I noticed, that the birds, whom were usually in full blown sing, had ceased. The eerie silence had settled, causing the hair on my skin to stand. My cold hands clutched the basket of fresh raspberry bread Mama had baked for Grandma. The longer I stood there, the faster my heart began to pound against my chest. Hesitantly, I took a look around. Slightly swinging my head to the left and then to the right.

But when I turned my head to the left, there I felt the gaze. My thoughts became jumbled- What was in the forest that was staring at me? Soon a rustling sound snatched the noise in between my ears away, causing my mind to go blank. Curiosity took over my legs and so I stepped. Getting closer to the forest than what I really should have.

The bushes began to rustle even more. And so I took a big breath in, and took another step into the forest. A surge of fear and excitement ran threw my body. My Mamas words echoed, "Never stray from your path." But did I take heed?

No

Slowly my legs proceeded, brushing past the fern. With each step, I inhaled and held my breath. Pondering, was I going to be killed? The noise in the bushes became louder and louder. And soon, I was standing right in front of it. Gingerly I tiptoed my body around the bush, clutching the basket even harder.

"What was it?" my mind race.

I peered over the bush to find what appeared to be a young child with long black hair covering its body that was in a fetal position. I gave out a sigh, feeling my tense body settle down.

"Excuse me young one, are you lost?" I questioned.

I walked over and pressed my hand on its shoulder. Its head swung around to the point where its neck twisted in a sickening way. Its empty eyes that bleed gaped up at me and a dark smile spread on its face.

"No. I am...fine." Its deformed voice answered.

My heart plunged into my stomach and my legs stiffened. Slowly I took my hand off its shoulder and so it rose up. Its legs, no longer that of a child, stretched over seven feet tall. Its face twisted as it looked down at me.

"Come hether, human." It reached its large hand out to me.

"Ah!!" I shrieked, bolting away from the Spirit or perhaps, was it one of those things I had heard of? A Demon.

I felt my body fly past the trees and bushes, trying to make its way back to the path. I didnt want to turn around, I didnt want to look at it, I didnt want it- to look at me. I made it back to the pathway and ran down it. Hearing the Demon Spirit cry out behind me in a heinous voice. I could feel myself, loose control of my legs. My body began to wobble just as I saw the exit of the forest.

"Come on! Come on!" My thoughts screamed. As I hit the mark where the forest ended, I tripped. My body rolling on the green pastures. I jumped up, searching for the demon but it had vanished. I sighed heavily, vowing never will I ever do that again.

It was only a week later before I broke the vow to myself. But what made me broke it, was something rather special.
